Changing the region boundaries to make match lines

If you need to alter the region boundaries in part of the character in order to match the character to some feature in the scene, you can use a variation of the Pencil tool to draw straight lines:

To constrain the Pencil tool to a straight line, hold down the Alt key and draw with the Pencil tool.

Release the key (without raising the pen, or releasing the mouse button) to continue drawing without constraint.
